What is Feng Shui?
In contemporary colloquial language (outside of China) the term “Feng Shui” commonly defines the concept as well as the art of goal-oriented interior design. However, there is more to Feng Shui than just putting your desk in the optimum way to ensure longterm success.
Simply translated, “Feng” means “wind” and “Shui” means “water”, which implies that the surrounding energies are observed, integrated and leveraged in the best possible way.
In Chinese Culture the idea of Feng Shui just represents a particle of an overall worldview, a Principle of Thought expressed in Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as in Chinese Philosophy, and last but not least, in Architecture and Mindful Interior Design.
The notion and the awareness of the bigger picture is the core foundation of Feng Shui. It is all about understanding the key impact of our everyday environment. We are not only able but even obliged to consciously create our environment as soon as we have fully understood that it literally shapes the way our lives are to unfold in the world beyond our domestic sphere.

Our home space represents what we experience in the world in a compressed, compact, sometimes symbolically encrypted way. As well as our bodies reflecting what is going on inside of us, our home and office spaces are telling the story of who we are and what we are doing the world.

Understanding the Rules and Applying Them
Due to my father, the practice of Feng Shui has automatically been an essential part of my life since my earliest childhood. I literally inhaled these concepts, ideas and principles, and have ever since integrated them in my life, wherever in the world I happened to be.
Numerous relocations and different environments, continually providing divergent outside living conditions throughout this lifetime have given me the opportunity to gain a very profound understanding of the rules of Feng Shui.
I have learned to read spaces in the same way that I have learned to read people, decoding the unspoken and analyzing the elements of these stories and the dynamics of how they manifest themselves.
